Django came into our life in 2013 about age 2 when we brought him home to Metro Detroit from Dayton, Ohio. He was “Prison Larry,” a big, 100-pound lapdog of a rough collie who had served two sentences as a prisoner trainee, having recidivized after his first ‘sentence.’ Django was incredibly loving, goofy, barky collie who relished neighborhood walks around Ferndale, Michigan, and as a ‘reactive’ dog pulled toward other dogs walking by while pulling his little sister, Maude, and little brother, Hugo, with the leash-tripler. Django died suddenly in August 2020 shortly after a move to Western Maryland. We miss the big goof dearly. –Todd & Donna Lassa
